Marketing refers to activities an organization undertakes to advertise the buying or promoting of a product, service, or good. In 2017, The New York Times described it as “the art of telling stories so enthralling that individuals lose track of their wallets”. Digital Entrepreneurship brings together state-of-the-art knowledge in digital business practices with primary instruction in entrepreneurship and business planning. Student work for this course will involve research and evaluation of digital marketplaces and, ultimately, the design and development of competitive digital startups. This course introduces college students to the graphic media business by learning its history, culture, applied sciences, markets and staff. The course provides an orientation to production ideas, working environments, hardware and software instruments, languages, working standards and cultures of the business. Being an knowledgeable world citizen requires an understanding of the global business setting.
